Tis the Season Ornaments has been making bread dough ornaments since 1978. Founder Linda Wilson and her sisters were first introduced to bread dough while visiting a friend who made a batch for her children to play with. "We decided to spend our Thanksgiving making dough ornaments for our family and friends for Christmas. After many requests for more of the ornaments a cottage industry was born."

"Our family business began in a spare bedroom in California, and then moved to a shed in Crested Butte, Colorado, a basement in Port Townsend, Washington, and finally to a studio in Sandpoint, Idaho.

We have three beautiful children, Remy, Matt, and Kenzie, who have moved and grown with our business. We are all involved in making the ornaments, baking, dipping, personalizing, selling, packing and shipping. You will often find the whole family setting up or breaking down our arts and crafts shows.

We have attended art fairs all over the US including six months at the 1982 Knoxville, World's Fair in the arts and crafts building.

As our children go off to college we find the need, the time, and the opportunity to take our business to the next level with our web site."

Tis' the Season continues to evolve with our web site!
